We have an immediate opening for a Senior Account Executive to join our Outdoor Industry specialist team MMGY Origin, based in Canada.
The ideal Sr. Account Executive for MMGY Origin shares our passion for the outdoors and can demonstrate an understanding of the brands, the consumers, the culture, and what actually moves people to get outside.
The Account Management team serves as the primary point of contact for all agency clients and acts as a conduit of communication between the client and all agency personnel and therefore is responsible for the quality of all agency output and client satisfaction. A Senior Account Executive has an established, thorough understanding of, and interest in the client’s business that allows them to anticipate the client’s needs and proactively lead the development of strategic, business driving solutions. The ideal Senior Account Executive must thrive in a high energy, fast-paced environment, have exceptional organizational skills, have a proactive attitude, be adept at managing priorities, a skilled problem solver, and have excellent people skills.
Responsibilities & Duties
General Account Management
- Maintain consistent daily client communication to facilitate deliverables and support client/agency growth
- Maintain clear knowledge and understanding of the travel industry, client business, advertising industry/channels, and agency process
- Actively participate in internal and external meetings as assigned
- Serve as the final stage of agency QA for work completed by the agency
- Actively participate in the development of team goals and strategies to achieve them
- Identify opportunities for and support proactive organic growth
- Establish and invest in cross-channel agency relations
Senior Account Executive Role-Specific Responsibilities
- Draft campaign and project briefs and lead internal project kickoff meetings
- Leading team meetings, client conference/status calls
- Document internal/external communication and disseminate among relevant stakeholders in a timely manner
- Manage cross-functional teams and external agencies in all phases of integrated campaign development, including innovation, ideation, consumer research and insights, and creative execution
- Manage the execution of client presentations, including the contributions of other channel leads
- Support the develop of and monitor client media plans, ad production, fulfillment, and reporting
- Present client deliverables, including project plans, estimates, timelines, and creative; partner with other channels as needed
- Negotiate and monitor the use of resources against project estimates to ensure that projects are delivered on time and on budget
- Review clients burn reports, identify discrepancies, and make recommendations to adjust as needed
- Track account financials, update team income forecast for all channels with newly approved projects/SOW income every month
- Participate in projecting agency revenue through the tracking of opportunities/impacts on the evolution of client business and reconcile actuals against projections monthly
- Meet or exceed personal organic revenue growth goals as assigned by team leadership
- Participate in the development of AC/AE enrichment plans as well as progress assessments; Mentor and provide professional guidance to AC/AEs (as required)
Qualifications
- Previous experience in the outdoor industry is required
- 4+ years of experience in advertising or a related field
- Thorough knowledge of integrated marketing channels including media, web, social media, PR, experiential, print, creative, and CRM
- Significant experience in professional client relationship management
- Proven team management and leadership capabilities
- Demonstrated experience managing integrated marketing projects from brief through execution
- Proficient in Microsoft Office and Google business applications

Salary Range: $65-$70k CAD
